If there’s one thing all Madridistas love, it’s the moment we find out what the new Real Madrid jersey for the upcoming season will look like.
Keeping it a secret until the end of the season is a challenge, but in reality, rumors about the design start leaking much earlier. Sometimes, even early versions emerge, which often closely resemble the final product.
A Strong Resemblance to the 2009 Jersey
The leaked design is reminiscent of the iconic 2009/2010 jersey, the season when Florentino Pérez returned as club president and made history by signing Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaká, and Benzema, among others.
That jersey stood out for its black shoulder stripes and a distinctive yellow stripe on both sides. The 2025/2026 version seems to feature a similar yellow stripe. This time, the Adidas logo is expected to be on the right side, with only the three stripes (without the word “Adidas”). The main sponsor will remain Emirates Fly Better, with HP featured on the sleeve.
One notable absence will be the Club World Champion badge, despite winning the Intercontinental Cup. However, if Real Madrid wins the 2025 Club World Cup, the badge will be added.
Authentic vs. Fan Versions
For years, Adidas has offered two versions of the jersey:
- Authentic Version (€150+): Made with high-quality, lightweight, breathable materials. This is the version players wear during matches.
- Fan Version: Heavier materials, lower quality, and designed for everyday wear. The crest is embroidered rather than printed.
Adidas seems to be increasing the visual differences between the two versions this season, especially in the side panels of the Fan version, which appear to feature large gray areas.

How Much Does Real Madrid Earn from Its Jersey?
The Real Madrid jersey is a major revenue stream for the club.
- Adidas pays around €120 million per year.
- Fly Emirates contributes around €70 million annually.
- HP recently joined as a sleeve sponsor, adding another €70 million.
That’s approximately €260 million per year just from jersey-related deals!
