Take a Photo with the Club World Cup Trophy at the Bernabéu

Good news for all Madridistas in Madrid today and tomorrow—the FIFA Club World Cup trophy, for the tournament taking place from June 14 to July 13 in the United States, is currently at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium!

But don’t get too excited—it’s not in the trophy room yet (haha), we haven’t won it… at least not yet (hopefully we do this season!). Instead, it’s on display at the Bernabéu Stadium store so that fans can take photos with it. But you’ll have to hurry—it’ll only be there today, Monday, and tomorrow until 2:00 PM.

The most luxurious trophy in world football:

Coated in 24-karat gold, the trophy features laser-engraved text in thirteen languages and Braille on both sides, images that represent the history of football, and a message for the champions: “History belongs to those who lift this trophy! We are witnessing a moment in history that represents the pinnacle of club football; few are chosen, but many celebrate.” It also includes a world map and the names of the 211 FIFA member associations.

Since January 17, the Club World Cup trophy has been touring the cities of the participating clubs—including Real Madrid.

According to our Real Madrid Schedule calendar, Real Madrid will play its first game in the tournament on June 18 (less than two months away!) against Al Hilal, in a group stage that also includes Pachuca and Salzburg.
