The other day we told you that the last remaining restaurant to be revealed inside the Santiago Bernabéu stadium (the one facing Concha Espina Street) seemed like it was going to be an Italian restaurant. However, it turns out it will be a Starbucks — and not just any Starbucks, but the largest in all of Spain.
The General Manager of Starbucks Iberia, Antonio Romero, has confirmed the news and stated: “Starbucks Bernabéu will be the largest store in the country and will serve as a showcase of the brand’s identity, with unique design and a product offering that won’t be found in any other store.”
This Starbucks will feature a new twist: a dedicated mixology space.
The brand’s iconic coffees will be joined by art, cocktail creation, and a variety of beverages to create a truly special experience. Starbucks, operated by Alsea in Spain since 2018, has signed a collaboration agreement to open its first flagship store in the Bernabéu Stadium.
Not your average Starbucks
It will stand out not only for its size — the Starbucks Bernabéu will span 900 square meters — but also because it aims to foster a deeper connection between customers and the brand. Personalized sessions will be organized to encourage customer participation and build a sense of community. These experiences will be led by baristas and will include coffee tastings. Additionally, the store will offer a wide range of drinks to suit every taste.
Designed to awaken the senses — especially through coffee and craftsmanship, it will create an atmosphere full of sensations. A “Reserve” bar will be included, with everything needed to observe and enjoy different coffee brewing methods. The expert baristas will showcase the most sophisticated techniques used to bring out the best in every coffee bean.
