    Official: Alexander-Arnold Signs for Real Madrid

    Good news, it’s now official: Alexander-Arnold has signed for Real Madrid. The official statement was released today.

    He joins on a free transfer from Liverpool. Even better, he will be eligible to play in the Club World Cup, as his contract begins on June 1st and runs through June 30th, 2031. Seems Real Madrid agreed with Liverpool to realease him 1 month before, because Real Madrid will pay around 5-10 million euros for that to happen.

    The 26-year-old English international joins our team after winning nine titles with Liverpool: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup, 2 Premier League titles, 1 FA Cup, 2 League Cups, and 1 Community Shield.

    Alexander-Arnold, who has spent his entire career at Liverpool, has been a full England international since 2018. He has featured in two World Cups (2018 and 2022) and one European Championship (2024).

    Individually, he has been named once in the FIFA FIFPro World 11 (2020), twice in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season (2018/19 and 2021/22), and three times in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year (2018/19, 2019/20, and 2021/22). He was also awarded the Premier League Young Player of the Season for 2019/20.

    Alexander-Arnold will represent Real Madrid in the Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States starting June 14.
