Today is the second leg of the Women’s Champions League quarterfinals: Arsenal vs Real Madrid, another match that could be historic for our girls.
The game will be played at the Emirates Stadium at 21:00 and can be watched on DAZN. We have a 2-0 advantage from the first leg, but it will still be a dangerous match. We need to be solid in defense, and if we can score a goal, it would help us stay calm.
Reaching the semifinals would be historic—Real Madrid Women team has never done it before. There, we would face either Olympique Lyon or Bayern Munich (Lyon won the first leg 2-0, so they are the favorites). In a potential final, we could face Barcelona, whom we finally defeated for the first time the other day.
If you comment on this post, we’ll discuss the match live!
We’ll keep you updated right here with everything that happens:
Arsenal 3 – Real Madrid 0: What happened today isn’t even worth talking about. What the players and Toril did is a sign of disrespect to this club and its fans. They didn’t fight or put up any effort—it seemed like they didn’t care about losing, getting eliminated, or even leaving a terrible impression. From the moment it was 1-0, they gave up. Even VAR disallowed two Arsenal goals (otherwise, it could have easily been 5-0 or worse…). Losing was a possibility today, even getting eliminated, but not with this attitude. There’s no point in discussing the match any further.

This is the Line-up, with some surprises 🙂 Very offensive with our 3 queens: Bruun, Weir and Caicedo, plus Athenea. Wish they are able to score at least 1 goal, that way Arsenal needs at least 3 to equal.
