Tomorrow, there is a very important match, so much so that it’s the most important in the history of Real Madrid Women: the quarterfinals of the Women’s Champions League against Arsenal, the first leg at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium (at Real Madrid’s sports complex in Valdebebas, Madrid, Spain).
The match is at 18:45 CEST (Spanish hour), and it will be broadcast on DAZN in Spain (if you know the TV channels in other countries, please share them in the comments).
The team has never played in front of a full stadium, and this is definitely a great opportunity to cheer them on and help them achieve something historic for the club.
Today, they completed their final training session before the match, with the team’s star Caroline Weir leading the way.
In fact, Melanie Leupolz has revealed that at the club’s Christmas dinner (where the men’s, women’s, and basketball teams dined together with staff and Florentino Pérez), President Florentino Pérez promised they would play a match at the Santiago Bernabéu when they won their first title. Could this Women’s Champions League be the first in the club’s history?
