Declan Rice and His Two Stunning Free Kicks Crush Real Madrid

Yesterday was one of those big nights… but a big night to forget — a complete nightmare, as we tell you here. Not only did we lose 3-0 and are now on the verge of being eliminated from the Champions League, but the best player for Real Madrid was Courtois, thanks to some great saves — which means it could’ve easily been 5-0 or worse…

What’s remarkable about the match is that Declan Rice showed up and scored two back-to-back free kicks — and not just goals, but absolute screamers. It’s rare to see such spectacular free kicks, and it’s almost unheard of to see two like that within just 12 minutes. It brought back memories of Juninho Pernambucano, Roberto Carlos (with his legendary free kick for Brazil against France and that impossible curve), or some of Cristiano Ronaldo’s best ones (especially during his early Manchester United days).

Anyone like me, who isn’t too familiar with Declan Rice, would assume he’s scored 50 free kicks by now. But the funniest — and most unbelievable — part is that these were his very first free-kick goals, not just of the season, but of his entire career! The 26-year-old British player shocked everyone and completely swung the match — and the tie — in Arsenal’s favor.
