As you know, Real Madrid’s stadium, the Santiago Bernabéu, has been under renovation for years, improving practically every day. Among other upgrades, the stadium’s dining options continue to expand.
A few weeks ago, the new Japanese restaurant Sushi KO by 99 Sushi Bar opened, and now a new restaurant has been leaked. It will be located on Calle Concha Espina (where Real Café Bernabéu used to be), and it appears to be an Italian restaurant. We don’t yet know which brand—perhaps Grosso Napoletano? Although they already have one on the same street. We’ll share more details as soon as we know more.
Update (09/04/2025): According to the latest news, it looks like it won’t be an Italian restaurant after all — it’s going to be a Starbucks! Here’s more information: Starbucks Bernabeu.
The new restaurant will occupy gates 72, 73, and 74, as seen in RealMadrid 1902’s video (minute 16).
All the Restaurants in the New Bernabéu
- Puerta 57: The restaurant that existed before the renovations has been rebuilt. It is now located at gates 44, 45, and 46 and is operated by La Máquina.
- Arzabal: Located at gate 28, offering high-quality Spanish cuisine.
- Plaza Mahou: Found at gate 54, possibly the most affordable option if you don’t want to spend too much. A highlight is that they brew beer on-site, making it the only stadium in the world to produce its own beer.
- KO by 99 Sushi Bar: Located at gate 39. You can find all the details about it here.
- Bernabéu Market: Yet to open, this food market will be located in Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones with around 25 food stalls, spanning approximately 3,000 square meters—similar in style to Mercado de San Miguel.
- Italian Restaurant: The one mentioned earlier, located at gates 72, 73, and 74. Expected to have mid-range pricing (neither cheap nor expensive), but further details are still unknown.
- SkyBar: The crown jewel of the stadium. The best spot in the entire venue, with two floors and a capacity for 200 people to watch the match. A more detailed post will come soon. It has not yet opened due to licensing and management changes, with the club looking for the best way to launch it—likely for next season.
