Good news for Real Madrid fans—according to RealMadrid1902 in his video, it’s now confirmed that the Bernabeu Market will open its doors in August.
What is the Bernabeu Market?
As part of the ongoing renovation works at the Santiago Bernabéu, which have been in progress for several years, there’s a strong focus on enhancing the stadium’s dining areas.
For tourists who have visited Madrid, it will be similar in style to the San Miguel Market—featuring 25 food stalls spread across roughly 3,000 square meters. You can check out more details on their Instagram (although it hasn’t been updated in a while).
This market will be a key attraction, especially because it’s located right in the “Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones,” one of the most beautiful façades of the stadium—particularly now, as the main section on La Castellana is still under construction and not very easy to access.
All the Restaurants in the New Bernabéu
- Puerta 57: The restaurant that existed before the renovations has been rebuilt. It is now located at gates 44, 45, and 46 and is operated by La Máquina.
- Arzabal: Located at gate 28, offering high-quality Spanish cuisine.
- Plaza Mahou: Found at gate 54, possibly the most affordable option if you don’t want to spend too much. A highlight is that they brew beer on-site, making it the only stadium in the world to produce its own beer.
- KO by 99 Sushi Bar: Located at gate 39. You can find all the details about it here.
- Bernabéu Market: Will open on August, this food market will be located in Plaza de los Sagrados Corazones with around 25 food stalls, spanning approximately 3,000 square meters—similar in style to Mercado de San Miguel.
- Starbucks Bernabeu: Located at gates 72, 73, and 74 in Avenida Concha Espina. Expected to open during next months.
- SkyBar: The crown jewel of the stadium. The best spot in the entire venue, with two floors and a capacity for 200 people to watch the match. A more detailed post will come soon. It has not yet opened due to licensing and management changes, with the club looking for the best way to launch it—likely for next season.
