There’s still a lot of the season left, but transfer rumors for next season are already circulating. Bayern Munich’s Davies seemed like he was going to join, but in the end, that was ruled out. However, the one that does seem very close to being confirmed is Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool player.
Several media outlets are reporting it today, although, as always, we’ll probably have to wait for official confirmations. But according to reports, everything has already been signed, as his contract with Liverpool expires this season.
Alexander-Arnold is a 26-year-old English player who is a right-back but can also play in other positions such as defensive midfield or right-wing. He would be a solid backup for Dani Carvajal, whose recovery from a serious injury remains to be seen, not to mention that Carvajal is already 33 years old.
He would arrive on a free transfer as his contract is expiring, but Real Madrid would pay various fees and sign bonuses worth around €15-20 million. His salary would be approximately €15 million gross per season.
