Real Madrid vs Barcelona – 🔴 Live 🔴
21.08 – Now it’s time to take a look at Barcelona’s starting eleven. They’re missing Lewandowski, which is a big loss, but they’re sticking to their 4-3-3 formation. Ferran Torres will replace him, joining the dangerous Lamine Yamal and Raphinha up front, with Dani Olmo playing just behind them (in a role somewhat similar to Bellingham’s). Pedri and Frenkie de Jong will be in midfield. Defensive solidity will be crucial, as well as who wins the midfield battle, since even though they attack with a 4-3-3, it’s likely they’ll defend in a 4-4-2, similar to what Madrid did last season, switching formations between attack and defense. Less than an hour to go until kickoff!

21.05 – We now know Real Madrid’s starting eleven (line up), and as we mentioned earlier, Mbappé will be on the bench (he’s still recovering from his injury), so they’ll play a 4-4-2 formation with a strong midfield featuring Valverde, Tchouaméni, Bellingham, and Ceballos, aiming to dominate the center of the pitch, with Vini and Rodrygo up front. At the back, Mendy returns (although it remains to be seen if he’s at 100%), with Rüdiger and Asensio as the center-backs, and Lucas Vázquez at right-back. As expected, Courtois will start (even though Lunin had been the goalkeeper for the Copa del Rey).

18.24 – Concert by the band Taburete at the Fan Zone, entertaining all the Real Madrid fans while they wait for the big final. They even sang the old Real Madrid anthem (the one for veterans and newcomers).

17.27 – Real Madrid fans are already gathering at the Fan Zone in Seville! Located at the Los Olmos parking lot, right next to Parque del Alamillo, the Fan Zone will be open until 7:00 PM. Entry is only permitted with a valid match ticket. Here are more details for all the fans who are there enjoying the build-up!

17.15 – Even if it doesn’t look like it, these you see here are Real Madrid players — specifically, the first ones to win a Copa del Rey, the very first in the club’s history, back in 1905. In this video from Real Madrid, you can see all the winners throughout the years, in a tournament that the club has won 20 times.

Real Madrid has won 20 Copa del Rey titles, the first in 1905 and the most recent in 2023.

17.05 – Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, showing his support for coach Carlo Ancelotti and the players ahead of the final. This includes Kylian Mbappé, who some media outlets suggest might not be in the starting XI due to injury, but there is hope he can still play in the final part of the match.

16.55 – Take a look at one of Real Madrid’s best goals in Copa del Rey finals! Like the one of Gareth Bale incredible running, or the header of Cristiano Ronaldo. Also Rodrygo and Ángel Di Maria goals are there. Who will be the hero today?
