Real Madrid Beats Sevilla 0-2 and Mbappé Continues His Fight for the Golden Boot
Sevilla 0 – Real Madrid 2, goals by Kylian Mbappé (75′) and Jude Bellingham (87′). It was a comfortable win for Real Madrid, who had nothing, or almost nothing, at stake—except Mbappé’s pursuit of the Pichichi Trophy and a possible Golden Boot.
Mbappé Four Goals Behind Lewandowski
With today’s goal, Mbappé is now just four goals behind Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski, who lost 2-3 to Villarreal today and failed to score.

Sevilla had a very tough match, receiving two clear red cards and playing much of the game with just nine men, which made things easier for Madrid. We fielded an unprecedented central defensive pairing with Vallejo and Jacobo Ramón. Jacobo, who had been the hero in the previous match, once again raised doubts—especially with a glaring mistake that could have cost us a goal. He still hasn’t convinced, and lacks the solidity we see in someone like Asencio.
Jude Bellingham scored the 0-2 after a good cross from Víctor Muñoz and a header from Gonzalo that looked like it was going in. It seemed like Jude had “stolen” the goal, but replays showed the ball was actually going wide, and Jude did well to stick his leg out and make sure it went in.
There’s only one league game left—Ancelotti’s final match with Real Madrid—against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabéu next Sunday.
